The National Chapter Information Organization

  • Mission:
    • 　　Its objectives are to promote international communication of academic and practical activities related to sustainable building and symbiotic environment in Taiwan, and to assist related industries stepping forward to international community.

  • Vision:
    • 　　In order to promote the development of sustainable environment and the construction with innovation perspectives, the vision of TSSBE (iiSBE-Taiwan) is to improve the knowledge and establish the sustainable environment in Taiwan, including the urban and rural regions. This vision also responses to the human’s living and future life.

  • Goals:
    • 　　The ultimate goal of TSSBE is to promote and establish the real symbiotic and sustainable living environment, and the formula "GB + Symbiosis = SB" is the collective solution to the sustainable future, and enlarge the concept to the level of community even the urban-rural regions.

      -- Short-term: To establish the connection between Taiwan and other regions for exchanging the experiences and products, and to arise the common thoughts of sustainability in Taiwan.
      -- Long-term: Finding the integrated solutions through the international collaborations and making the policy and the industries change.

  • Year chapter was formed and legally established:
    • 　　TSSBE （Taiwan Society of Sustainable Built Environment, iiSBE Taiwan）was established on 2 June, 2007. It’s a non-profit, non-governmental organization.
