Dr. Lin De-en delivered speeches about Meteorology and Climate Change

Dr. Lin De-en is one of TSSBE's Director, and his relevant experiences are as follows.

January 2016, was invited to go to Taipei Long-Shan Temple, and give "Climate Change and Religious Culture" lectures, response has been enthusiastic. March 2016, attended the "2016 TCCIP Workshop on Applications of Climate Change Projection" at NCDR (National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction).

March 2016, was invited to go to the Air Force Institute of Aviation Technology, and give "Climate Change and Humanistic Education" series of lectures, the participants highly appreciated.

April 2016, was invited to go to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and give "Flight Safety Invisible Killer—the wake turbulence" lecture.

May 2016, was invited to go to the Shu-Te University, and give "How Meteorology to Influence the building and living space" lecture.

Dr. Day delivered a speech entitled "Lost in the Greater Symbiosis"

Dr. Day Yeong-tyi, one of TSSBE's Director, was invited to be part of the committee of judges at the 5+2 Environmental Art Design Cup of China Institute of Architectural Decoration and Design held by the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute from Oct. 24 to Oct. 25, 2015. Based on the themes "interconnection" and "symbiosis", the contest was open to environmental design schools in western China. Gold, silver and bronze medal winners were selected under the categories: architecture, landscape and combination. The day after the contest, Dr. Day delivered a speech at the forum entitled "Lost in the Greater Symbiosis", which was about the blind spots in human thinking and self-salvation in a world of climate change and frequent disasters. Dr. Day also served as a commentator in the symposium for exchanges in environmental design teaching.

Jan. 2015: Served as the commissary of Aeronautical Meteorology Safety, FSF-T ROC and joined in the Consultative Committee to review the annual achievement of Flight Safety Foundation-Taiwan, R.O.C.

Jan. 2015: Served as consultative commissary of the Advisory Broad of Chung Cheng Institute of Technology National Defense University Defense Science (attending the meeting of Consultation Committees of the Chung Cheng Institute of Technology National Defense University Defense Science)

March 2015: Received a "Special Award for Distinguished Services and Senior Meteorological Personnel" (attending the annual meeting of the Meteorological Society, R.O.C.)

May 2015: Served as consultative adviser of the Emergency Management Information System EMIS, Kaohsiung City Government (Participation in convening the Anti-disaster Working Conference held by Kaohsiung City Government)

The Promotion of Solar Community in Kaohsiung City

The TSSBE, member Joseph, Li Yen-yi and colleagues took the leadership to promote the first middle capacity solar community in Kaohsiung. The promotion was conducted three solar communities in Kaohsiung for both private apartment and neighbor-park. The TSSBE members helped to establish the system and evaluate the best performance in a 328-unit apartment.
